“While traveling through Ogunquit my husband and I always stop at Panache. We have bought several unique pieces over the years. Each time we visit we are amazed. The pieces hung in our home always receive many compliments. The staff have always been helpful, attentive and friendly.”

“The above review must be a person who does not respect other peoples property. This is not a place where you would bring small children, dogs, large purses or clumsy children, and sorry to say large oversize bodies (although they do leave enough space to walk around). As you are completely aware everything there is extremely expensive, and one of a kind. It's easy to want to touch and feel their merchandise, but people don't always put things back in the same manner as they found it. So grow up and be more respectful and understanding. Think this way, WHAT IF IT WERE YOUR STORE? People do have accidents and don't always want to pay if they brake something? You're not in a cheap china store. I love my ring and earrings. Will be back soon to purchase again. D and B, Hampton”

“I have purchased several things here and used to make it a must stop but the last time I stopped (albeit in my going home from the weekend attire) I was rudely accosted to be careful and don't touch when I was only near something in such a condescending tone from the woman who had sold me $1000.00 earrings six months earlier!!! I have made it my mission to warn everyone...these woman do not deserve your visit nor your business”

“My Parent's have been going to Panache for years. The art they sell there is beautiful!. The owners are lovely and very friendly. Although they have known my family for many years, I have seen them interact with other customers and they could not be more friendly. My 9 year old looks forward to shopping there every year. Although, I do not recommend bringing your kids unless you keep them by your side at all times. was in there when a family let their kids wander around. As the person said above, you want to avoid costly accidents. although many items are pricey, they have a nice selection for many budgets. It is a must go to store.”

“I have been to Panache many times. It is a BUSINESS. It's not a gift shop or a museum. They sell (GLASS) ART. I've been there when families enter- not all parents are willing to closely supervise their children, which must be nerve wracking for the staff. I know I found it pretty distracting. The pieces are unique, some are quite large and heavy. The store is a jewel box, art is displayed everywhere. To avoid an embarrassing/costly (?) breakage episode,I recommend an adult stay with a child, while others shop. I've done it that way for years.”

“My wife and I visited this gallery during the summer and were amazed at the woderful selection of glass and unusual jewelry. The two women were very friendly and helpful. My wife loves the ring we purchased that day. We would highly recommend this gallery.”

“My second visit to this gallery was my last! When I expressed interest in a piece of pottery and asked who the artist was, I was told that information would be given to me if I purchased it. WHAT??!!! I was so shocked at this retort that I couldn't follow the reason of this abrupt refusal. This I know...life is too short and there's too much really good art out there to put up with the petty rules (don't stand too close, don't touch, no info without purchase) and the rudeness that I found in this glorified gift shop. Oh, and I did pick up a piece and found it not well-executed and certainly not worth the price!
PS The only reason I gave this place a star was because I had to in order to record my review!” -

“My wife and I recently stopped by Panache because it looked like a really cool shop. Once inside we were simply amazed at all the beautiful pieces of art and jewelry that were on display. Unlike other reviewers, we found the two women running the shop to be extremely friendly and helpful. We made our purchase, and are looking forward to our next visit.”

“We were followed& watched by a rude & pretentious clerk being reminded not to get too close to the displays as my glasses might fall off & damage the pieces. I will never return to this place again!!!”

Don't Bring the Kids!

“After having a conversation with my well behaved 8 and 11 year old girls about not touching ANYTHING, I entered the store and immediately was accosted by the owner or person who ran the store letting me know that children AND adults should not touch the merchandise. The girls and I were fine with this and couldn't wait to look around and hopefully purchase something. After about 1 minute, the woman said to me could you make sure your children stay by your side? I told her, it was okay they would not touch anything (and they hadn't), but she said yes, but they could bump into something. Who wants to be nagged while trying to appreciate beautiful art? I immediately walked out of the store extremely offended and dissappointed. Perhaps there should be a sign on the door saying NO CHILDREN ALLOWED-WE HATE THEM!”

“My girlfriend and I went to Ogunquit, ME in October of 2008 for a long weekend trip. One of the first places we stopped was Panache, and I'm glad we did. I picked up a really nice clock made by a local artist, as well as a small ornamental glass globe for my mother. This place is cool when you don't want the typical run of the mill 'touristy' garbage.”
